Scholar Bowl victory

On Saturday, February 17th, Wesclin’s varsity Scholar Bowl team traveled to Bond County Greenville Community High School to participate in the Masonic Academic Bowl Tournament. The team, consisted of five students: seniors Ethan Boulanger and Collin Henderson and juniors Taylor Gooch, Owen Henderson, and Anissa Mumford. The varsity team scored third place out of twelve other teams and earned medals. Wesclin’s varsity Scholar Bowl team is currently ranked in first place in the Scholastic Bowl Cahokia Conference as the team is still undefeated. Ethan Boulanger, a Scholar Bowl student and senior at Wesclin, said, “I’m really glad to be a member of the varsity Scholar Bowl team this year. The team has had a very successful season so far, and it has all been a blast!” Keeping up the good work, the team expects to do well at the upcoming Cahokia Conference Tournament on Thursday, March 1st.
