Wesclin Student Council hosts Mr. Wesclin

On Wednesday, January 23rd at 7:00 p.m, Wesclin Student Council (STUCO) will host Mr. Wesclin, a male talent show that occurs every other year at the high school. Tickets to the talent show, which will be held in the Wesclin High School cafeteria, will be five dollars each and went on sale at the High School on Monday. Eight contestants will compete to win within three different categories: swimwear, evening wear, and talent. Each contestant, that ranges from sophomores to seniors, is a representative of a club from Wesclin he is involved in. The contestants include: Ryan Gladden, junior STUCO member, William Adcock, sophomore Time 4 Change member, Sonny Lunn, junior chorus member, Taylor Gooch, senior cross country runner, Jacob Brown, senior National Honor Society member, Noah Marlar, senior FFA president, Dylan Flowers, senior Shop Club member, and Grant Heier, sponsoring the senior class. Junior, Grant Jackson, will serve as MC for the talent show. Ryan Gladden, junior contestant and Wesclin Student Council Vice President, said, “Ever since we started planning for Mr. Wesclin in November, I’ve been super excited to see the outcome in both the production and being a part of the show.” Tickets for this year’s Mr. Wesclin are on sale at the high school for $5.00.
